Learn the fundamental combatives utilized in krav maga.
Participants will learn some of the following combatives:
-palm heels,
-punches
-knee strikes
-elbows
-basic kicks.
Students will also learn how to generate power and combine combatives effectively.
The entire Women's Self-defense Workshop Series will repeat several times throughout the year, giving participants an opportunity to repeat a topic and learn new material.

Learning to defend against a variety of choking attacks, as well as bear hugs and other mugging situations.
Participants will learn some of the following defense:
-Choke from the front-2 handed pluck
-Choke from the front-1 handed pluck
-Choke from the side
-Choke from behind
-Bearhug from the front (arms trapped and arms free)
-Bearhug from behind (arms trapped and arms free)

Anti-Kidnapping (Women's Workshop)

This workshop will focus on building an awareness of your surroundings, developing a get away strategy, and fending off an attacker that is attempting to move you to another location.
Participants will learn some of the following defense:
-Choke from the front with a push

-Choke from behind with a pull
-Bearhugs from the front and back with a lift

Close Quarters (Women's Workshop)

Attacks can happen anywhere, including in stairwells, elevators, or even pinned against a wall. This workshop will focus on teaching participants the most effective techniques for fending off an attack even in the smallest spaces, such as stairwells, elevators, and pinned against a wall.
Some of the defenses that participants will learn are:
-Attacks against a wall
-Grabs from various angles
-Clinches
-Hair grabs and pulls
